Tirade Now that the elections are finally over I want to declare something.....I didn't vote and I didn't die! Fuck you P.Diddy! Unless you've had your head up your ass for the last six months you couldn't of helped but hear that God awful attempt at a slogan/rallying point that the Hip Hop "artist" came up with in a very poor attempt to get a younger crowd to vote. Vote or Die! has to be one of the all time worst things I've ever heard. First of all, its stupid. Second of all, any asshole knows that if you threaten youth that they are almost guaranteed to rebel against whatever it is you're asking/forcing them to do and respond by doing the exact opposite of what you wanted. And what do you know? Exit polls showed that fewer than 1 in 10 voters were aged 18-24. That's about the same portion as the Electorate in the 2000 election. Don't get me wrong, I admire the fact that he's attempting to educate younger people and to get them more involved but someone needs to educate either him or his advisors on a better catch phrase. Just say it with me, Vote....or Die! What the fuck is that? When they were kicking around ideas that should of never even been a serious consideration. While I'm on the topic of politics and entertainers, if any entertainers are reading this please take this to heart. In the next election and all future elections, please don't fucking try to influence the people who look up to you and admire you for your singing ability, acting or whatever the fuck it is you do. They want you to entertain them not to try to influence them to vote for the lesser of two evils that you happen to prefer. Let them see who's running and make the choice for themselves. Bruce Springstein's opinion of who'd make a better President shouldn't be public knowledge. Shut the fuck up, sing Born in the USA and collect another 500,000, ya fuckin prick! Thank God we have four years before we have to deal with this kind of bullshit again.
